Receptiveness

Rain filled the terrain
With its gentle misty touch
As I watched a tender sprout
Revivifying with life again
I then saw the mystic touch
The Master sends forth in thousand forms
As he senses the yellow tones
Crackling across the lives He owns.

When life turns its paths all brown
And its days seems shriveling down
There still prevails a hope if we’ll
Let ourselves be drenched in time
Of a rain that poured as faith
Letting us to begin once more

To be receptive all it takes
For one to see the path as green
To be soaked in blessings sublime
Poured from above as abundant rain
